The national flag of the country was adopted in 1947 soon after the country got independence.
The Pakistani flag is a broad cloth of completely green color, with the brightness and saturation of the hue enshrined in government documents. On the flag there are two images-a large white Crescent, and closer in the upper right corner – a small white star.
The meaning of the flag is explained quite simply. The green color of the flag symbolizes all Muslims. For the religion and culture of the country, this color is especially important – among the desert, in the yellow Sands and dunes, to meet the green oasis greatest happiness and hope for life. It is such a deep shade of the flag of the country means the desire to live, the connection with nature and fate, will mark faith in religion. The white color of the symbols located on the flag is intended to mean non-Muslim peoples living in Pakistan. The Crescent moon is meant to serve as a reminder of movement and transience, meaning progress and change. Star calls not to forget the knowledge and wisdom of the ancestors, and carries light and comfort
