The flag of Saint Vincent and Grenadines has been adopted quite recently in 1985. It consists of green, blue and gold tricolor with for diamonds in the form of letter von the yellow stripe. These diamonds represent three grenadine islands who fell under the government of Saint Vincent. Blue is a symbol of the Pacific Ocean and sky. Yellow stand for sands of Grenadine. Green is a symbol of rich vegetation of Grenadine. The previous flag had a fruit tree leaf. In the center, there was a national coat of arms.
It must be noted that a national flag can tell us a lot about the country`s mentality. The flag of this little country is various and controversial as the nature of this territory and the spirit of local people. On the one side they are kind and friendly but on the other ready to struggle for the company`s independence to the last drop of the blood.
