Flag Of Arkansas

The flag of Arkansas – the symbol of one of 50 US states.

Design

The flag of Arkansas consists of a red, white, and blue colors that are the same as the colors of the national US flag. Thus, the coloring represents Arkansas is part of the USA. There is also a white diamond in the middle of the flag. It stands for the fact Arkansas is the only state in the USA producing diamonds. The 25 stars in the blue border of the diamond symbolize Arkansas was the 25th state to join the US. Furthermore, there is a blue inscription with the state name, “ARKANSAS” on a white field inside the diamond. The three blue stars under the inscription symbolize Arkansas was governed by the three countries before becoming one of the US states (Spain, France, the USA).
