The flag of Georgia – the symbol of one of 50 US states.
The flag of Georgia is made of red, white, and blue colors. It consists of a state seal on a blue square field with thirteen white stars above it, and one white and two red stripes organized horizontally. The stars are the symbol of the first thirteen original states of the USA, among which was Georgia itself. The seal includes the arch with the three columns. The inscription, “In God We Trust”, which is also the state motto of Georgia is placed under the column, in the gold letters. Another inscription saying, “Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation” is put inside the columns. The seal of Georgia represents the protection of the constitution of the United States, about which the word, “Constitution” written on the arch states. The one white and two red stripes are in equal shapes.
An official flag of Georgia was changed many times. The current one was adopted in 2003.
